profile for the emory university “Emory wire.” Maternity Leave: A time to switch careers

“A few years ago, Braun decided to start her family, giving birth to two children in two years. She earned a promotion while pregnant with her first, then switched jobs during maternity leave with her second. And, in that time frame, from the beginning of her first pregnancy to returning from the maternity leave with her second, she doubled her salary. Word got around. Thus Something Major Coaching was born, with the mission of helping women navigate growing their careers while growing their families.”
