About the Event:
We are so excited to host an event with authors and leaders Randi Braun and Emily Goodson who will be discussing confidence, identity, and building a life and career on your own terms.
Randi is the author of Something Major: The New Playbook for Women at Work and CEO of a women's leadership firm by the same name. A DC-based author and certified executive coach, she helps women with demanding jobs and bold goals thrive at work. She has been featured in The Washington Post, Forbes, and Parents Magazine, among others. Emily is the author of Dating Disability: 15 Stories of Dealing with the BS and Building Confidence, a book about identity, self-advocacy, and building confidence as a woman with a physical disability. She speaks to organizations and schools, and she coaches individuals on entrepreneurship. Her work has also been featured in the Los Angeles Times.
On Monday, June 1 at 6pm, Randi and Emily will be joining forces at B&N F Street for an intimate conversation, held for women by women, tackling issues at the intersection of identities. There will be an opportunity on-site to purchase both authors' books, and both authors will be signing books after the conversation.
